Paolo Šepić, better known as V1T0, came to production through drums. Growing up in Croatia, he started playing as a kid before eventually moving deeper into production and audio engineering, building a career that now spans producing, songwriting, engineering and vocals. His work has connected him with artists and producers including Ronny J, 808 Mafia, Southside, Carnage and Ty Dolla $ign. That background carries naturally into his producer tags. V1T0 hears the voice as part of the session around it, paying attention to where it sits against the drums, how much space it takes and what happens once somebody else starts processing it. He records in English and Croatian, bringing the same producer’s instinct to a tag that he would to any other sound in a record.
